Acer has launched new Nitro 16 laptop with latest gen NVIDIA RTX graphics card and Ryzen processors, and it’s time we let you know about its features.
Speaking on the release, Chief Business Officer of Acer India, Sudhir Goel said, “With its cutting-edge features and a gorgeous 16-inch display, the Nitro 16 aims to revolutionize the gaming experience for passionate gamers in India.”
While being on the entry-mid-level series, it easily exchanges blows with Acer’s Predator lineup and is a solid option for people looking for the best price-to-performance ratio.
Laptop Specs and Features
The new Nitro 16 features Ryzen 7 7840HS octa-core processor with 8 cores and 16 threads which is easily able to multitask. On the GPU side, it features an RTX 4000 series graphics card that can easily run latest AAA games.
These graphics card feature DLSS 3 with frame generation which is helpful in recent unoptimized game releases. Users have two options in GPU, RTC 4060 with 8GB VRAM and RTX 4050 with 6GB VRAM.
Talking about the RAM, the laptop comes packed with DDR5 memory going up to 5600 MHz. All that with 512GB Gen 4 SSD storage which can be increased along with RAM. Notably, the maximum memory support is only 32GB.
The display is a 16-inch WUXGA LED panel (1920 x 1200) with 165 Hz refresh rate which is more than enough for gamers. Between all this, the laptop comes with a dual fan with exhaust on the back and sides to keep the laptop cool and RGB backlit keyboard for night-time gaming sessions.
On the connectivity side, the laptop has several USB ports including 2 USB-C ports, RJ-45 connector for LAN cable, SD card reader and a dedicated 3.5 mm audio jack. Wi-Fi 6E also provides faster wireless connection but online gaming is always suggested to be done on wired connection.
