India pacer Mohammed Siraj and Sri Lankan batter Kusal Mendis had a heated verbal altercation during the third ODI match between India and Sri Lanka, held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

It all happened during the 39th over of the first innings, Mohammed Siraj began with three consecutive dot balls. On the third delivery, he delivered a low-skidding ball that Kusal Mendis barely managed to defend. 

Following this, the two players engaged in a verbal spat. Siraj directed some words at Mendis, who replied with a few of his own.

Talking about the match, Sri Lanka beat India by 110 runs to seal the series. They earlier won the 2nd ODI by 32 runs and the first ODI match was ended in a tie.
