The Afghanistan leg-spinner sustained the injury while fielding in the final over of his team’s latest match against Southern Brave on August 10.
Per a report by ESPNCricinfo, all-rounder Chris Green has been called back into the squad to replace the Afghanistan international.
Chris Green participated in the opening fixture for the team before leaving for other commitments. However, with the current needs of the team, he has re-joined the Trent Rockets.
After their recent defeat to Birmingham Phoenix, the Trent Rockets’ campaign has come to an end. With one match remaining, they will look to end the season on a positive note by securing a win and restoring some pride.
