South Delhi Superstarz captain Ayush Badoni hit four consecutive sixes in the first match of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024 against Purani Delhi-6 at Arun Jaitley International Cricket Stadium in Delhi on Saturday. 

The young batter, who represents Lucknow Super Giants in IPL, lit up the first match of the DPL 2024 with his incredible six-hitting display. While chasing 197, he unleashed a fierce attack on Ankit Bhadana in the 12th over, smashing four consecutive sixes off the last four balls. 

Talking about the match, Purani Dilli managed to put up a challenging score of 197-3 in their allotted 20 overs, led by Arpit Rana’s 59 off 41 balls, with solid support from Rishabh Pant (35), Lalit Yadav (34), and Vansh Bedi (47).

In reply, South Delhi Superstarz openers Priyansh Arya and Sarthak Ray made light work of the chase, adding 87 runs for the first wicket. Ayush Badoni then came in at number 3 and delivered a brilliant innings, scoring 57 off 29 balls. 
South Delhi Superstarz registered a three-wicket win over Purani Dilli.
