For context, an FIR has been lodged against Shakib Al Hasan, along with several other prominent figures in Bangladesh, in connection with the murder of a man who was protesting in the country.

Shakib is currently in Pakistan for a two-match Test series. The first Test of the series is underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
