Ishan Kishan, the keeper-batter of the India Cricket Team, could soon be back in the T20I squad. Reports from PTI suggest that the left-hander is likely to be part of the team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.

Following the Test series, India and Bangladesh will face off in a three-match T20I series. The first match is scheduled for October 7th in Gwalior, with the second game in Delhi on October 10th, and the final match in Hyderabad on October 13th.

Given the short gap between the Bangladesh Test and T20I series and the upcoming New Zealand Test series, players involved in the Test squad are expected to be rested. Reports also suggest that Rishabh Pant might be given a break for workload management.

Reports suggest that if Rishabh Pant is rested for the T20I series against Bangladesh, it could create an opportunity for Ishan Kishan. The wicketkeeper-batter’s last international appearance for India was during the South Africa tour.
