1. Ayush Badoni
The young Delhi batsman was the second-highest scorer in the Delhi Premier League 2024, and he even led his team from the front. Given that he is familiar with Arun Jaitley Stadium, where he grew up playing, Delhi Capitals should target him because they are in dire need of an Indian opener.
Although Prithvi Shaw has been with the team, he has been too inconsistent. If Ayush Badoni comes in, he can open alongside Jake Fraser-McGurk, with Rishabh Pant coming in at number three as a floater, allowing him to switch his game as the match demands.
2. Nandre Burger
