In a lighthearted yet competitive moment during the second ODI, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan had a humorous exchange with Australian spinner Adam Zampa over a potential dismissal. Rizwan and Zampa’s Funny DRS Moment

After Pakistan won the toss and sent Australia in to bat, they took advantage of a lively, bouncy pitch, with Haris Rauf’s pace creating issues for the Australian batters. The Aussies struggled, with Steve Smith’s 35 being the top score as the team collapsed in the 35th over for just 163 runs. Rizwan, sharp behind the stumps, grabbed six catches and thought he had his seventh after a particular delivery from Naseem Shah to Zampa.

With Australia down to their last wicket, Zampa faced a fiery bouncer from Naseem. The ball zipped past him, seemingly untouched, landing in Rizwan’s gloves. While Naseem made a hesitant appeal, he was unsure if there was any contact with Zampa’s bat or gloves. Rizwan and Naseem decided to discuss the option of taking a DRS review.

In a playful twist, Zampa joined the conversation, encouraging Rizwan to take the review if he believed there was an edge. Taking Zampa’s suggestion with a smile, Rizwan eventually went for the review.

However, replays showed no contact between Zampa and the ball, resulting in Pakistan losing their review. The exchange provided a light moment on the field, showing the camaraderie between the two players despite being on opposite teams.

Although Zampa won the small battle, Rizwan had the last laugh as Pakistan bowled Australia out for a low total of 163. Later, the Men in Green, inspired by outstanding knocks by Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub registered an easy nine-wickets win at Adelaide Oval to bring the series to level 1-1.
