India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was visibly upset after a wild throw from Mohammed Siraj injured his hand during the second day of the third Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The incident happened at the non-striker’s end, leading to a brief exchange of words between the two players.

The moment occurred during the 63rd over when Travis Head played a delivery from Jadeja towards point. Mohammed Siraj, stationed at point, threw the ball towards the non-striker’s end but accidentally hit Jadeja’s hand. The throw seemed unnecessary, leaving Jadeja frustrated on the field.

Ravindra Jadeja Struggles with the Ball

Ravindra Jadeja’s return to the playing XI hasn’t gone as expected. After missing the first two Tests in the series, he was brought in for the Brisbane Test, replacing Ravichandran Ashwin. However, he failed to make an impact with the ball, conceding 35 runs in his nine overs without taking any wickets.

India’s bowling largely relied on Jasprit Bumrah, who dismissed Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney early on. However, Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj couldn’t provide breakthroughs during the first two sessions. Nitish Kumar Reddy managed to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne for 12 runs, but Australia remained in control.
