Mohammad Rizwan, the captain, continues to lead the team with his steady performances both behind the stumps and with the bat. Usama Mir’s bowling adds variety and control to the Sultans’ attack. Iftikhar Ahmed, David Willey, and Usman Khan bring both batting power and bowling skills, adding balance to the squad. Chris Jordan’s experience in the death overs will be crucial, and Faisal Akram adds further depth to the team.
Multan Sultans’ PSL Success
Multan Sultans have been one of the strongest teams in recent PSL seasons. They reached the final in 2021 and won their first PSL title in 2022, defeating Lahore Qalandars. In 2023, they again made it to the final but were runners-up to Lahore Qalandars.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to schedule PSL 2025 in the April-May window to take advantage of a period with minimal international cricket. This timing will allow full focus on the league.
With a solid group of retained players, Multan Sultans will aim for their second PSL title in 2025. The team will look to build on their recent success and bring home another trophy for their fans.
