The first match of SA20 2025 between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and MI Cape Town brought plenty of excitement. Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and chose to bowl first. MI Cape Town had a tough start as they lost opener Reeza Hendricks early.
However, Dewald Brevis, famously known as “Baby AB de Villiers,” turned the game around. Coming in at a crucial moment, Brevis left behind his poor form from the last season and started with a bang. He looked unstoppable, smashing a quick half-century in just 23 balls.
Dewald Brevis Stuns with a No-Look Six
Brevis entertained the crowd with a series of boundaries, but one shot stole the show. Facing Beyers Swanepoel, Brevis played his trademark no-look six, a shot he is known for pulling off with ease.
Swanepoel bowled a full delivery at 122 kmph, outside off, right in the slot for Brevis. He stepped forward, struck the ball cleanly, and sent it sailing over long-on for a massive 91-meter six. The stunning part? Brevis didn’t even look at the ball’s direction as it soared out of the park.

The shot left the crowd in awe and reminded everyone why Brevis is one of the most exciting young talents in cricket. His aggressive innings set the tone for MI Cape Town and gave them the momentum they needed.
