The Strikers’ innings was powered by captain Matthew Short’s explosive century. He scored 109 off just 54 balls, smashing 10 boundaries and 7 sixes. Short reached his century in just 49 balls, making it the fastest-ever century for the Strikers in BBL history. He was eventually dismissed in the 16th over by Mitchell Swepson after a brilliant knock.
