Desert Vipers secured a thrilling 7-wicket win over Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the second match of ILT20 2025. The match was played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Sam Curran, the CSK star, delivered a match-winning performance for the Vipers.

The game turned in Desert Vipers’ favor when Daniel Lawrence and Sam Curran joined hands. Lawrence played a brilliant knock of 70 runs off 39 balls, smashing seven fours and three sixes. Sam Curran, after a slow start, anchored the chase with an unbeaten 50 off 37 balls, hitting two boundaries and one six. Sherfane Rutherford sealed the win with a quick 9 off 4 balls.

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders’ bowlers, including Russell, Sunil Narine, and Shahid Bhutta, each took a wicket, but they couldn’t defend the target.
