Glenn Maxwell left fans in awe with an unbelievable 122-metre six during the Big Bash League (BBL) match between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades at Docklands Stadium. Maxwell unleashed his full power as he rescued the Stars from a disastrous start with a sensational knock.

The Stars struggled early after being sent to bat, losing half their team for under 50 runs. Their top-order batters failed to tackle the Renegades’ disciplined bowling attack, and the team looked set to collapse. That’s when Maxwell stepped up to turn the game around with his incredible batting display.

Maxwell scored a stunning 90 runs off 52 balls, including 10 sixes and 4 boundaries. The highlight of his innings was a monstrous six measuring 122 metres, one of the longest in the tournament’s history. Facing Kane Richardson, Maxwell cleared his front leg and launched a length ball deep over the mid-wicket boundary. The ball struck the bat’s sweet spot, leaving the crowd and players stunned.
