The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to take place between April 8 and May 19, 2025. Before the action begins on the field, all six franchises will finalize their squads during the much-awaited PSL 2025 Player Draft.

The draft will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Huzoori Bagh, a historic venue within Lahore Fort, Pakistan. Each franchise, namely, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans will look to strengthen their teams with the best players from the draft pool.

Retentions and Draft Details

Before the draft, all six teams retained a minimum of seven players from their previous squads. While Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators opted to retain eight players each, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi retained seven players each.

The draft ceremony will allow these teams to fill the remaining spots and build competitive squads for the milestone 10th season.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the schedule for the draft event. The ceremony begins at 12:30 PM PKT with a studio broadcast, while the draft process itself will start at 1:10 PM PKT. Here’s the start time in various regions:
