The South Africa cricket team has revealed its 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Temba Bavuma will continue to lead the side in the tournament. The squad includes ten players who were part of the 2023 ODI World Cup.

Fast bowlers Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi have returned to the team after recovering from injuries. Nortje was sidelined due to a broken toe, while Ngidi missed matches because of a groin injury. Their comeback is expected to strengthen the bowling attack.

The Proteas will play three group-stage matches:

  • February 21: South Africa vs Afghanistan (Karachi)
  • February 25: South Africa vs Australia (Rawalpindi)
  • March 1: South Africa vs England (Location to be announced)

South Africa’s campaign will rely heavily on experienced players like David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, and Kagiso Rabada, alongside young talents eager to make an impact.
