Jacob Bethell, the young batting star picked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for INR 2.6 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction, delivered a stunning performance in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25.

Playing for Melbourne Renegades, Bethell smashed back-to-back sixes off Nathan Ellis, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer signed for INR 2 crore in the same mega auction.

The fireworks began in the 18th over of the Renegades’ innings. On the first ball of the over, Ellis bowled a low full toss outside off, and Bethell punished it by launching the ball over wide long-off for a massive six.
