Joburg Super Kings (JSK) have been showing off some excellent fielding moments in the ongoing SA20 2025 tournament, and they added another one to their collection in their match against Pretoria Capitals. This stunning moment came in the final over of Pretoria’s first innings, thanks to Donovan Ferreira’s excellent fielding.

The exciting catch took place on the fourth ball of the 20th over, bowled by Hardus Viljoen. Muthusamy, the batter for Pretoria Capitals, tried to make room for a big swipe across the line. He skied the ball off the toe of his bat, and it seemed like it might just sail over mid-on. But Donovan Ferreira, stationed at mid-on, stretched his right hand out, and in a superb display of agility, he plucked the ball out of the air to complete the catch.

Pretoria Capitals Struggle in the Match

This dismissal marked one of the final wickets in Pretoria Capitals’ innings, which ended at a modest total of 138/8 in their 20 overs. Almost all their batsmen struggled against the spinners of Joburg Super Kings and the slower deliveries from their fast bowlers.

Top scorer for Pretoria was Kyle Verreynne, who made 39 runs off 31 balls, but the rest of the batting order faltered. Will Jacks scored 15, and James Neesham contributed 30, but there was little support from the other batters. Liam Livingstone, one of the star players, could only manage 22 runs from 30 balls, while the other main players, including Rilee Rossouw and Marques Ackerman, were dismissed cheaply.
