Dubai Capitals batted first and put up a strong total of 201/5. Shai Hope led the charge with an unbeaten 83 off 52 balls, hitting six sixes and three boundaries. Rovman Powell chipped in with a quick 28 off 15 balls, while Sikandar Raza contributed 27 runs. Tim Southee was the pick of the bowlers for Sharjah, taking two wickets for 35 runs in his four overs.

Despite a strong bowling lineup, Sharjah struggled to contain the runs. Adam Milne conceded 46 runs in his spell, while Adil Rashid and Karim Janat picked up one wicket each.
