Anamul Haque’s brilliant century could not save Durbar Rajshahi as Khulna Tigers claimed a thrilling 7-run victory in Match 26 of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024-25. The match, held at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, was packed with action and high-scoring drama.

Khulna Tigers Set a Mammoth Target
Khulna Tigers batted first and put up a challenging total of 209/4 in 20 overs. Mohammad Naim gave the team a strong start with 27 off 14 balls. Skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz also chipped in with 26 off 13 balls.
Afif Hossain anchored the innings with 56 runs off 42 balls, while William Bosisto played a crucial role, staying unbeaten on 55 off 37 balls. Mahidul Islam Ankon provided a strong finish, smashing 30 runs off just 12 balls, including four sixes. Taskin Ahmed was the standout bowler for Rajshahi, picking up 2 wickets for 36 runs.
Anamul Haque’s Century Not Enough
Chasing 210, Durbar Rajshahi started well, with Jishan Alam hitting a quick 30 off 15 balls. However, they lost wickets at crucial moments. Anamul Haque kept Rajshahi’s hopes alive with a stunning knock of 100 runs off 57 balls, hitting 9 fours and 5 sixes.
