India secured a nail-biting 2-wicket victory over England in the second T20I of the 5-match series, taking a 2-0 lead. Chasing a target of 166, Tilak Varma’s unbeaten 72 off 55 balls proved to be the difference-maker.
England Post 165 with Buttler and Carse Contributions
After winning the toss and opting to bat, England struggled to maintain momentum. Captain Jos Buttler played a brisk 45 off 30 balls, while Brydon Carse added a quick 31 off 17 to push England to 165-9 in 20 overs.

Tilak Varma Shines in the Chase
India’s chase began shakily, with Abhishek Sharma (12) and Sanju Samson (5) falling early. However, Tilak Varma anchored the innings with a composed 72*, smashing 4 fours and 5 sixes. He found support from Washington Sundar, who scored 26 off 19.
