Rangpur Riders Struggle with the Bat
Rangpur Riders posted 143/5 in their 20 overs. The team had a slow start, losing Steven Taylor early for a duck. Soumya Sarkar (23) and Iftikhar Ahmed (65*) tried to rebuild the innings. Iftikhar played a crucial knock, smashing seven fours and three sixes. Mahedi Hasan (22*) provided some support towards the end.
Among Chittagong Kings’ bowlers, Khaled Ahmed took 2 wickets for 44 runs. Shoriful Islam and Shamim Hossain picked up one wicket each. Binura Fernando and Aliss Al Islam bowled economically, restricting the scoring rate.

Chasing 144, Chittagong Kings lost Lahiru Milantha early. Parvez Hossain Emon (41) held one end but struggled to accelerate. Graham Clark (15) and Mohammad Mithun (20) chipped in, but it was Haider Ali’s explosive 48* off 18 balls that took the game away from Rangpur Riders. He smashed six sixes, ensuring an easy chase.
Akif Javed and Mohammad Saifuddin took two wickets each for Rangpur, but their bowlers couldn’t stop Chittagong from reaching 148/5 in 17.4 overs.
