Operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment, the casino will be part of the City of Dreams Sri Lanka integrated resort, which aims to enhance Sri Lanka’s position in the international tourism and hospitality sector.
According to a report by EconomyNext, the casino is a result of a collaboration between Melco Resorts and John Keells Holdings (JKH).The project is part of the Cinnamon Life integrated resort, featuring a 687-room luxury hotel and Nuwa hotel. This five-star property includes 113 premium rooms on the top five floors of the complex. The Nuwa hotel is scheduled to open in mid-2025.
Melco’s $125 Million Investment in Casino Development
Melco Resorts has committed $125 million to outfit the casino, ensuring it meets international standards for luxury gaming. The investment will support advanced gaming technology, world-class interiors, and premium hospitality services.
