The match was held at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka against Chittagong Kings. Khulna Tigers, batting first, posted 163 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs, with Hetmyer being the standout performer.

The West Indies left-hander walked in to bat when Khulna Tigers were struggling at 42 for 4 in the ninth over. The team needed someone to take charge, and Hetmyer stepped up with an attacking approach. He smashed 63 runs off just 33 balls, hitting six fours and four sixes. His strike rate of 190.91 showed how dominant he was at the crease.
Hetmyer took on the bowlers from the start, playing aggressive shots all around the ground. He built a crucial partnership with Mahidul Islam Ankon, adding 73 runs for the fifth wicket. This stand helped Khulna recover from an early collapse and gave them a fighting total.
Hetmyer’s innings ended in the final over when he tried to play another big shot but was caught by Shoriful Islam off the bowling of Binura Fernando.
