Krafton Expands BGMI Universe with Exclusive Audiobook Collaboration

Krafton India, publisher of BGMI, announced an initiative to enhance the gaming experience. It introduces an audiobook titled BGMI: Lone Survivor. This collaboration with Kuku FM adds a fresh narrative to the game. It offers players an immersive storyline beyond gameplay.

According to a report by Moneycontrol, the audiobook will delve into the journey of a lone survivor navigating intense battles within the BGMI universe. It is designed to engage the game’s player base by offering a compelling backstory that aligns with its thematic elements. The initiative marks Krafton’s first venture into the audiobook space, signaling its efforts to diversify content offerings and deepen player engagement.

Expanding BGMI’s Universe Through Immersive Storytelling

Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Krafton India, stated, “We constantly explore new ways to expand the BGMI universe and engage our community. Partnering with Kuku FM delivers immersive storytelling. This collaboration complements the game’s experience and brings a fresh perspective to our players.”

The BGMI: Lone Survivor audiobook launched on January 30, 2025, exclusively on Kuku FM. It tells Carlo’s story, who wakes up trapped on the island of Erangel. He must fight to survive against mercenaries, terrorists, and killers. He joins Anna, a journalist, Badshah, a skilled fighter, and Peter, an ex-cop. Together, they search for weapons and navigate betrayals. Carlo evolves from a survivor to a tactical leader as the story unfolds.

The audiobook consists of 21 episodes available in Hindi. New users can listen for free with a seven-day trial on Kuku FM. The subscription costs ₹399 for three months, granting access to this and other exclusive content. It features high-quality narration and sound effects that replicate the in-game environment, enhancing immersion. The audiobook explores themes of survival, power, betrayal, trust, resilience, tactical decision-making, and the psychological impact of high-stakes survival.
