RCB spin-bowling all-rounder Shreyanka Patil will not play in WPL 2025. She has been ruled out of the tournament, but the exact reason for her absence is not known. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has replaced her with Sneh Rana, who previously played for Gujarat Giants.
Shreyanka was a key player for RCB last season. She played a big role in helping her team win the WPL 2024 title. She was also the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, picking 13 wickets in 8 matches. Overall, she has played 15 WPL matches and taken 19 wickets.
RCB’s new replacement, Sneh Rana, was the captain of Gujarat Giants in WPL 2023 when Beth Mooney was injured. However, her team finished at the bottom of the points table. Gujarat Giants did not retain her, and she also went unsold in the WPL 2025 auction.
Now, RCB has signed her for ₹30 lakh. Rana has played 12 WPL matches and taken six wickets, but her economy rate was 9.02. She is currently not in India’s white-ball team but performed well in the Senior Women’s One-Day Challenger Trophy, taking nine wickets for India C.
