Delhi Capitals Women secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory over UP Warriorz in the sixth match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara.

After winning the toss, Delhi opted to bowl first. UP Warriorz posted 166/7 in their 20 overs, with Kiran Navgire leading the charge with a blistering 51 off 27 balls.
Shweta Sehrawat (37 off 33) and Chinelle Henry (33* off 15) also chipped in. Annabel Sutherland was the pick of the bowlers for Delhi, taking 2/26 in her four overs.
In reply, Delhi Capitals Women chased down the target in 19.5 overs, with captain Meg Lanning anchoring the innings with a solid 69 off 49 balls. Annabel Sutherland (41* off 35) and Marizanne Kapp (29* off 17) ensured Delhi crossed the finish line with ease.
Deepti Sharma, Grace Harris, and Sophie Ecclestone picked up a wicket each for UP Warriorz, but their efforts weren’t enough to stop Delhi from clinching the win.
