Mumbai Indians Women have had a mixed start to their campaign. With both teams having strong squads, this match is expected to be a closely contested battle, and RCB will enjoy playing in front of their home crowd.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Pitch Report

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is well known for its batting-friendly conditions. The short boundaries and a quick outfield make it a paradise for batters, leading to high-scoring games.

  • The pitch offers little help to bowlers, making it difficult for pacers and spinners to contain runs.
  • Batters will enjoy stroke play, with plenty of runs available on the surface.
  • Chasing teams generally have an advantage due to the flat nature of the pitch.

The stadium has hosted some remarkable moments in women’s T20 cricket. India’s highest total of 163/5 was recorded here against Bangladesh in 2016, while the lowest total remains 91/5 by Bangladesh.

Sophie Devine holds both the record for most runs (129) and the highest individual score (70). The best bowling figures belong to Kate Ebrahim (3/16). The highest partnership (89 runs) was formed by Devine and Amy Satterthwaite. Poonam Yadav and Sophie Devine lead the bowling charts with 8 wickets each.
