Yuzvendra Chahal & Dhanashree Verma Appear in Court Amid Divorce Proceedings

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have officially separated. According to media reports, the couple has completed their divorce process.
Divorce Finalized in Court
Chahal and Dhanashree attended their final divorce hearing at the Bandra Family Court on February 20. The judge asked them to attend a 45-minute counseling session before making the final decision. Both of them told the court that they were ending their marriage with mutual consent.
The couple also revealed that they had been living separately for the last 18 months. When asked about the reason for their divorce, they said it was due to “compatibility issues.”
The hearing started at 11 AM, and by 4:30 PM, the judge declared them legally divorced.
Chahal & Dhanashree Share Cryptic Messages
After the court proceedings, both Chahal and Dhanashree shared emotional messages on Instagram.
Chahal wrote:
“God has protected me more times than I can count. So, I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen.”
Dhanashree also shared a message:
“From stressed to blessed. Isn’t it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying, or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”
A Relationship That Began in Lockdown
Chahal and Dhanashree got married in December 2020. Their relationship started during the Covid-19 lockdown. Over the years, they became one of the most popular couples on social media. However, things changed, and they finally decided to part ways.
