In a worrying sign for Team India, fast bowler Mohammed Shami walked off the field after bowling just three overs in the crucial ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match against Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Shami did not look in his best form from the start. In his first over, he bowled five wides, struggling with his rhythm. He bowled two more overs but continued to look uncomfortable. Eventually, the team physio was called onto the field to check his leg, and after a brief discussion, Shami left the ground.

Major Setback for India?

If Shami does not return to bowl, it could be a huge blow for India. He is one of the most experienced bowlers in the team, and his absence will put extra pressure on the rest of the bowling attack.

Pakistan Wins Toss, Opts to Bat

Meanwhile, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and chose to bat first.
