The third and largest edition of the Bharat Tech Triumph Program (BTTP) has announced its 20 winning game developers, marking a significant step for India’s gaming industry. Organized by WinZO Games and the Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council (IEIC), BTTP Season 3 is backed by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), and other key stakeholders.

BTTP Season 3 Expands Market Access for Indian Developers

The latest edition of BTTP, which saw participation from over 1,000 entries, will provide the winners with international exposure at three prestigious platforms:

  • Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 (March 17-21, San Francisco, USA)
  • Start-Up Mahakumbh (April 3-5, Delhi, India)
  • WAVES (May 1-4, Mumbai, India)

This initiative aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in India’s gaming sector while providing developers with access to investors, publishers, and industry leaders worldwide.

India’s Gaming Market on a Growth Trajectory

India’s gaming industry is poised for exponential growth. According to a US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) report, the market currently stands at USD 4 billion and is expected to reach USD 60 billion by 2034. BTTP aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Create in India for the World” vision, positioning Indian developers to expand globally in the AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) sector.

Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary of DPIIT, emphasized BTTP’s role in advancing India’s position as a global gaming powerhouse. “This program fuels the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision by mentoring game developers and exporting top Indian gaming content,” he stated.

Padma Shri Prashanth Prakash highlighted the potential of India’s gaming sector, stating, “Gaming is undergoing a massive transformation globally. With the right support, India can become a leader in gaming exports.”

Paavan Nanda, Co-Founder of WinZO Games, reaffirmed BTTP’s mission, saying, “With this edition, BTTP has solidified itself as the key platform for unlocking the talent of Indian game developers.”
