Gaming Platform OneVerse Partners with Poker Dangal for Expanded User Access

Metaverse and gaming technology company OneVerse has announced a partnership with online poker platform Poker Dangal to expand its real-money gaming (RMG) portfolio. The collaboration will integrate Poker Dangal’s services into the OneVerse gaming platform, allowing players to participate in both free and paid online poker tournaments.

As reported by Money Control, Karan Gandhi, co-founder of Dangal Games, which operates Poker Dangal, said, “This integration allows us to reach a wider audience and grow our gaming ecosystem. Partnering with OneVerse helps us scale and explore new opportunities.”

Poker Dangal, founded in 2017 by Gandhi along with Varun Mahna, Varun Puri, Shashwat Jain, and Manan Sobti, has a user base of more than two million players. The platform offers different poker formats for both casual and competitive players.

OneVerse, founded by Prashanth Joshua, has been increasing its presence in India’s RMG sector through acquisitions and partnerships. Over the past year, the company has acquired Spartan Poker, Calling Station, BatBall11, and PokerSaint. The company has allocated ₹250 crore in growth capital to support its RMG platforms.

Paul Michael, CEO of OneVerse Gaming, said, “Bringing Poker Dangal into the OneVerse platform is a step towards improving game development and player engagement.”

The online poker industry in India has seen recent acquisitions. In February 2025, Head Digital Works acquired Delta Corp’s skill gaming unit, Deltatech Gaming, which operates Adda52, for ₹491 crore. Adda52 is one of India’s oldest online poker platforms. Head Digital Works operates online rummy and poker platforms under the A23 brand.

Meanwhile, gaming and sports media firm Nazara Technologies has acquired a 47.7 percent stake in PokerBaazi, an online poker platform.

The Indian online gaming industry is adjusting to the impact of the 28 percent Goods and Services Tax (GST) on online gaming transactions. Despite this, companies continue to invest and expand in the sector.
