Pune-based game developer SuperGaming has introduced an update to its Indo-futuristic battle royale game, Indus Battle Royale. The latest patch brings a new weapon, a culturally inspired character, and an innovative game mode, along with the launch of the Season 3 Battle Pass: Justice Reborn.
The update introduces Gen0 47, a high-precision weapon built by Akito Corps, Agni Raagam, a vigilante warrior inspired by Kathakali, and Rebirth Royale, a squad-based mode with a 3SPAWN respawn system. This update aims to enhance gameplay while celebrating Indian culture within the gaming world.
Gen0 47: A High-Skill Combat Weapon
SuperGaming has added Gen0 47, a hybrid-casual weapon designed for skilled combat. The gun features a 29-round magazine and inflicts 27 damage per body shot and 47 per headshot. Against shielded enemies, it requires eight headshots or 13 body shots to secure an elimination.
Available in both Battle Royale (BR) and Team Deathmatch (TDM) modes, this weapon rewards precision, making it a powerful choice for experienced players.
Agni Raagam: A Tribute to Kathakali
In a collaboration with Indie-Rock band Thaikkudam Bridge, SuperGaming has introduced Agni Raagam, a character inspired by Kathakali, one of India’s most revered performing arts.
Agni Raagam is a vigilante warrior who safeguards the rich traditions of Kathakali from fading into history. The character features vivid colors, dramatic face paint, and a fierce presence, embodying the art of storytelling and combat.
“Kathakali is a powerful storytelling tradition that is slowly fading. Navarasam by Thaikkudam Bridge revived it through music, and now, with Indus Battle Royale, we’re bringing it to gaming,” said Roby John, CEO & Co-founder of SuperGaming.
Vian Fernandes, bassist and rapper of Thaikkudam Bridge, added, “Kathakali is a treasure of Indian culture, but like many traditional art forms, it risks being forgotten. When we made Navarasam, we wanted to bring its story to life through music, and now, seeing it take shape in Indus Battle Royale is incredible.”
Rebirth Royale: A Game-Changing Mode
A major highlight of the update is Rebirth Royale, a new squad-based game mode featuring a unique 3SPAWN respawn system. Players get three chances to re-enter the battlefield, making it a high-action, comeback-driven mode.
How 3SPAWN works:
- Upon ejection, players see a “Respawn ON” notification.
- If eliminated, a “BACK IN ACTION” screen appears with a respawn timer.
- The first respawn takes 10 seconds, the second takes 15 seconds, and the third takes 20 seconds.
- Once the timer ends, players skydive back into battle and can reclaim their loot.
This experimental mode is exclusive to Rebirth Royale and is not available in other formats.
Season 3 Battle Pass: Justice Reborn
The Season 3 Battle Pass is packed with new rewards, allowing players to unlock exclusive in-game content as they progress.
Season 3 Rewards:
- New Avatars: Patrol Duty, Space Cadet, Agni Raagam
- Weapon Skins: Polizei, Rangrez, Rangbaaz, Interceptor
- Vehicle Skins: Enforcer, Kathak Rider, Skullrush
- Additional Rewards: Stickers, Dive Trails, Emotes, Portraits
With this update, SuperGaming continues to innovate while integrating Indian cultural elements into Indus Battle Royale.
