Prepend to the Content
Virat Kohli is one of the most followed cricketers in the world. His fans eagerly wait for his posts, especially after big wins. However, after India won the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, Kohli did not post anything on social media. This left many fans wondering why.
Recently, Kohli revealed the reason behind his decision to stay away from social media.
Virat Kohli’s Views on Social Media
During an interaction, Virat Kohli explained why he has stopped posting online. He believes that technology should have a purpose, and for him, social media is not necessary.
“I don’t post on social media much because technology without a goal is destructive. Posting on social media doesn’t make anything different in my life,” he said.
Kohli also mentioned that people’s comments do not affect him. Because of this, he does not feel the need to share posts.
No Post After Champions Trophy 2025 Win
Many fans were waiting for Kohli’s social media post after India’s victory. However, he made it clear that posting about a win does not add to his happiness.
“Posting about us winning the championship is not going to increase the happiness in my heart. My posting about it is not going to give us two trophies,” Kohli said.
Kohli’s words show that he is more focused on cricket rather than online attention. While he used to be active on social media, he now prefers to stay away from it.
