Big matches need big performances. Harmanpreet Kaur gave one in the WPL 2025 final. Mumbai Indians lost early wickets, but their captain stood strong. She played a brilliant knock under pressure and helped her team reach a fighting total.

Mumbai Indians lost two wickets early. Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews got out quickly. The team was in trouble at 14/2 in 4.3 overs. Harmanpreet walked in with a big challenge ahead. Delhi Capitals bowlers were in full control. Another wicket could have put Mumbai in deep trouble.

Harmanpreet stayed calm. She played carefully at first. Nat Sciver-Brunt, who had been in great form this season, was at the other end. Both batters built an important partnership. Harmanpreet slowly picked up the pace.

After her dismissal, Mumbai lost quick wickets. Amelia Kerr and Sajeevan Sajana got out in the same over. G Kamalini hit a six but got out soon after. However, Amanjot Kaur provided some late fireworks. She smashed 14 runs off just seven balls. Mumbai Indians finished with 149/7 in 20 overs.

For Delhi Capitals, Marizanne Kapp was the best bowler. She gave away just 11 runs in four overs and took two wickets. Nallapureddy Charani and Jess Jonassen also picked up two wickets each.
