Hasan Nawaz Breaks Babar Azam’s Record, Smashes Fastest T20I Century for Pakistan

Pakistan National Cricket Team created history in the third T20I against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland. They chased down a big target of 205 runs in just 16 overs with nine wickets in hand. Hasan Nawaz played an outstanding innings, scoring the fastest century by a Pakistan batter in T20I history. Skipper Salman Ali Agha also played well, scoring an unbeaten 51 runs off 31 balls.

Hasan Nawaz’s Record-Breaking Innings

Hasan Nawaz struggled in the first two matches of the series, getting out for zero both times. However, Pakistan believed in his ability and gave him another chance. He did not disappoint this time. Nawaz smashed 105 runs off just 45 balls, hitting 10 fours and seven sixes. This is now the fastest ever century for Pakistan in T20Is. Earlier Babar Azam held this record.
