Why Was Irfan Pathan Removed?

According to a report by MyKhel, some Indian players were unhappy with Pathan’s comments. One cricketer even blocked his number after hearing his remarks during the Australia series. The report claims that Pathan’s criticism seemed personal rather than fair analysis.

A source told MyKhel, “Otherwise, his name would have been there. For the last two years, he has been carrying personal agendas against certain players, which did not go well with the system.”

Is Hardik Pandya the Reason?

Many believe that Irfan Pathan often targets Hardik Pandya in his commentary. He has criticized Pandya several times, and some feel it is unfair. This could be one of the reasons for his removal from the panel. However, there is no official confirmation about this.
