PokerBaazi has relaunched its popular brand campaign, ‘Tu Poker Khelta Hai Kya?’, featuring Bollywood actor and brand ambassador Shahid Kapoor. The campaign aims to challenge stereotypes around poker while reinforcing the game’s skill-based nature.
As reported by Exchange4media, the campaign leverages the ongoing T20 cricket season to reach a wide audience. It delivers the message, “Jo life mein khelta hai, wo Poker bhi khel sakta hai,” emphasizing how real-life skills translate into poker strategies.
The four-ad film series presents Shahid Kapoor in everyday situations where he instinctively applies poker strategies. The ads showcase skills such as quick calculations, reading opponents, staying calm under pressure, and making strategic decisions. Each film highlights that poker is not just about cards but about risk-taking, decision-making, and strategy, all of which are integral to daily life.
Navkiran Singh, Founder and CEO of Baazi Games, spoke about the campaign’s objective. The campaign has been directed by Suraj Wanvari of Happy Monk and written by Vishal Dayama of Braindad. Their creative approach adds a satirical and humorous tone to the films.
