The sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. LSG captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Lucknow Super Giants started well as Shardul Thakur dismissed Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Reddy in back-to-back deliveries. However, Travis Head once again looked dangerous with the bat.
To stop him, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant introduced Ravi Bishnoi into the attack in the sixth over. Bishnoi created a wicket opportunity on his very first ball, but it was Nicholas Pooran who dropped an easy catch.
Travis Head, who was batting on 35 runs from just 18 balls at the time, tried to loft a shot towards long-on. The ball went straight to Pooran, but he failed to grab it. SRH fans cheered as Head survived, knowing that he could make LSG pay for this missed chance.
Lucknow had a great start, but this dropped catch could turn the game in Sunrisers’ favor. Pooran and LSG bowlers will now have to work harder to get Head out before he does more damage.
