Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have faced a tough time in IPL 2025, with most of their fast bowlers ruled out due to injuries. However, this has given young players a chance to prove themselves. One such youngster is Prince Yadav, who made an impact by taking his maiden IPL wicket. His first victim was none other than the dangerous Australian batter, Travis Head.
Travis Head, who had already survived two lifelines in Ravi Bishnoi’s over, was finally dismissed in the eighth over. On the third ball of the over, Prince Yadav bowled a brilliant delivery that shattered Head’s stumps. The 23-year-old bowler’s celebration was filled with emotion as he removed one of the most aggressive batters in the tournament.

Notably, Prince Yadav had played in LSG’s first match but couldn’t take a wicket and conceded 47 runs. However, the potential he has shown in this game suggests that LSG will continue to back him in upcoming matches. At the time of writing, SRH had scored 110 runs for the loss of four wickets in 12 overs.
