The packed yellow stands, usually roaring with CSK chants, suddenly went silent as the team lost early wickets. To make things worse for the home fans, the entire stadium erupted with “RCB! RCB!” chants, creating an unexpected atmosphere at Chepauk.

Chasing a big target, CSK lost wickets early. Rahul Tripathi fell in the second over, followed by captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who departed for a four-ball duck. The fans were stunned as Deepak Hooda also got out cheaply. When Sam Curran was dismissed in the ninth over, CSK were reduced to 52 for 4, making the chase even more difficult.

Rachin Ravindra Fights Alone

Among the chaos, Rachin Ravindra has been the only batter standing strong for CSK. He has scored 35 runs off 25 balls, hitting four boundaries. Shivam Dube, known for his power-hitting, has just arrived at the crease and will need to play a big innings to bring CSK back into the game.

RCB Bowlers Dominate

RCB’s bowlers have been on point, not allowing CSK any momentum. Josh Hazlewood has been the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets while conceding just six runs in his two overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Liam Livingstone, and Suyash Sharma have also bowled well to keep the pressure on CSK.

As CSK kept losing wickets, the atmosphere at Chepauk changed. The usual sea of yellow lost its voice, and instead, loud “RCB! RCB!” chants echoed around the stadium. It was a rare sight at CSK’s fortress, showing the frustration of the home fans.
