Ruturaj Gaikwad Falls For A Duck
CSK’s chase got off to a bad start as they lost Rahul Tripathi early. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad then walked in, hoping to lead his team to victory. However, his stay at the crease was short.
On the last ball of Josh Hazlewood’s first over, he attempted a big shot but ended up giving an easy catch to Manoj Bhandage. He was dismissed for a four-ball duck.
This was Gaikwad’s first duck at home in the IPL. Interestingly, it was also his second consecutive duck against RCB in the tournament.
Virat Kohli’s Animated Celebration
Virat Kohli was thrilled after Gaikwad’s dismissal. The former RCB captain, known for his energetic celebrations, took things to another level this time. He jumped on Josh Hazlewood’s back in excitement, making for a funny moment on the field.
CSK In Trouble Early
At the time of writing, CSK is struggling at 40 for 3 after 7 overs. With a big target ahead, they will need a strong partnership to stay in the game.
