Mumbai Indians faced a tough situation in their IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The five-time champions were chasing 197 runs but kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Robin Minz, who was expected to play a responsible knock after his failure in the previous match against Chennai Super Kings, once again disappointed.

The young batter attempted an unnecessary big shot off Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore and ended up getting caught by Ishant Sharma after scoring just 3 runs off 6 balls.

Rohit Sharma’s Angry Reaction

As Minz walked back to the dugout, former MI captain Rohit Sharma was visibly frustrated. The senior batter was spotted shouting at Minz, showing his disappointment over the reckless shot. Given that Mumbai Indians needed a solid partnership at that stage, Minz’s dismissal only put them under more pressure.

At the time of his wicket, MI were 108/4 in 12.6 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav and skipper Hardik Pandya left to take charge. While MI still had batting depth, the loss of another wicket made their chase even harder.

Mumbai Indians needed a strong finish from their remaining batters to stay in the hunt for their first win of the season.
