Mumbai Indians have won the toss and elected to field first against Gujarat Titans in Match 9 of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The match begins at 7:30 PM IST.

MI captain Hardik Pandya cited uncertainty over the pitch and the dew factor as reasons for bowling first. He mentioned that last year’s experience on different soil types played a role in the decision.

GT skipper Shubman Gill remains unfazed, stating his team is used to batting first and will focus on setting or chasing the right target. He also highlighted the left-right opening combination with Sai Sudharsan and confirmed a potential impact sub change.
