Yuzvendra Chahal Stops Pooran’s Strong Knock
Nicholas Pooran was batting well and was close to scoring his third consecutive fifty. However, Yuzvendra Chahal ended his stay at the crease in the 12th over. This was Chahal’s first wicket of the season. Pooran got out just six runs short of his half-century.
Chahal bowled a tossed-up googly outside the off stump. Pooran tried to hit it over the long-off boundary but could not time it well. The ball went high in the air, and Glenn Maxwell took a brilliant catch near the boundary.

Lucknow Super Giants’ Struggle
After Pooran’s dismissal, Lucknow Super Giants were struggling at 89-4. They needed a partnership to build a good total. Young batters Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad then started rebuilding the innings.
Thanks to Samad’s late fireworks, Lucknow Super Giants managed to post 171 runs on the board. Punjab Kings then had to chase this target in the second innings.
