SRH vs GT: Why Harshal Patel Is Not Playing Today’s IPL 2025 Match?

The 18th match of IPL 2025 is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. The game is happening at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on April 6.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to bowl first. Their captain, Shubman Gill, made the decision. In this match, Washington Sundar is making his debut for Gujarat Titans. But one name was missing from the Sunrisers Hyderabad playing 11 — Harshal Patel.

Before the match, SRH captain Pat Cummins confirmed that Harshal Patel is not feeling well. He is suffering from illness and that is why he is not playing today. In his place, left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat has been included in the team.

Harshal Patel has been an important bowler for SRH. But since he is unwell, the team had to make this change. SRH will hope that Harshal recovers soon and comes back strong in the next games.
