Jasprit Bumrah is back in action for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025. He is playing in the 20th match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium. This is his first match of the season after returning from injury.

Bumrah came to bowl the fourth over of the match. On the second ball, Virat Kohli gave him a grand welcome with a big six. It was a powerful shot!

What Happened on the Ball?

Bumrah bowled a short ball that was angling in from over the wicket. Kohli quickly moved to the leg side and smashed it over deep midwicket for a six. The crowd went wild after the shot.

Kohli’s shot was not just about runs. It was a strong message to Mumbai Indians that RCB is ready to fight hard.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bowl first. In the very first over, Trent Boult gave MI a good start by dismissing Philip Salt. But after that, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal have settled well.

Both batters are playing smartly and building a good partnership. Kohli’s six off Bumrah has given RCB the energy they needed.
