LSG vs GT: Why Mitchell Marsh Is Not Playing Today’s IPL 2025 Match?

The 26th match of IPL 2025 is being played between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Bharat Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Mitchell Marsh is not part of the playing XI for this match. The Australian all-rounder has opted out as his daughter is unwell. Due to the family emergency, Marsh decided to stay away from the game.

In his absence, Himmat Singh has been included in the playing XI. This is Himmat’s first appearance in the Lucknow Super Giants jersey, and the team will be hoping for a solid debut from the Delhi-based cricketer.

At the toss, LSG captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bowl first. With Marsh missing, the team combination has slightly changed, but Lucknow will aim to keep their winning momentum going.
