Tilak Varma played a brilliant knock of 59 runs in just 33 balls, while Rickelton (41), Suryakumar Yadav (40), and Naman Dhir (38* off 17) also played fast innings. Kuldeep Yadav was the best bowler for Delhi, taking two wickets for just 23 runs.

In reply, Delhi Capitals lost Jake Fraser-McGurk on the first ball of the innings, but Karun Nair kept the team alive with a stunning knock of 89 runs off 40 balls. He smashed 12 fours and 5 sixes and looked unstoppable. However, after his dismissal, Delhi kept losing wickets and could not keep up with the required run rate in the end.

Karn Sharma bowled well and took three wickets for Mumbai, while Santner and Bumrah also picked up wickets at the right time. Delhi Capitals were bowled out for 193 in 19 overs and lost the match by 12 runs. This was a close match, but Mumbai held their nerves better in the final overs.
