The 31st match of IPL 2025 between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders turned into a nightmare for PBKS fans. The match, held at the new stadium in Chandigarh, saw Punjab Kings get bundled out for just 111 runs in 15.3 overs — the lowest team total of this season.

PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first. However, his team had a shocking collapse. Despite a strong start from Prabhsimran Singh (30 off 15) and Priyansh Arya (22 off 12), things went downhill quickly once they lost early wickets. Shreyas Iyer himself got out for a duck. None of the other batters managed to stay at the crease long enough to build a strong total.

The middle-order completely collapsed, with Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, and Marco Jansen failing to make any impact. The entire batting unit looked under pressure against KKR’s disciplined bowling attack.

KKR bowlers were on fire. Harshit Rana took 3 wickets, while Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy picked up 2 wickets each. Narine, especially, kept things tight in the middle overs and did not allow PBKS to settle.

As soon as Punjab Kings were bowled out for just 111, social media was flooded with funny memes and reactions.
